I'm a San Francisco Bay Area–based Director of Photography and Cinematographer working across documentaries, commercials, music videos and narrative.
I approach my work with humanity, empathy, and a deep passion for cinematic storytelling — seeking out the emotional truth in every frame. My lighting tends toward the naturalistic: I'm drawn to images that feel discovered rather than built.
My recent documentary projects include the Netflix docuseries Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam, which debuted as the #1 TV show on the platform, and the Apple TV+ series K-Pop Idols. My most recent documentary, Who Is Michael Jang?, premiered on PBS's Independent Lens. Other documentary credits include Pixar and Disney+.
In the commercial world, I bring deep technical fluency to every production — I’m calm, precise under pressure, and committed to beautiful image capture whatever the conditions. I've collaborated with brands including Apple, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Chime, Square, Microsoft, YouTube, Target, Uber, Intel, Kraft, Nest, Method, Molekule, One Medical, Pandora, Nowness, and Art Basel.
I've also had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite musicians, including Future Islands, FKA Twigs, Moses Sumney, Sylvan Esso, and Toro y Moi.
Available in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and worldwide. ICG Local 600.
