I’m a San Francisco Bay Area-based Director of Photography and Cinematographer, with a focus on documentaries, commercials, and music videos.
I approach my documentary work with humanity, empathy, and a deep passion for telling nonfiction stories in a cinematic way—seeking out the emotional truth in every frame. My recent projects include the Netflix docuseries Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam, which debuted as the #1 TV show on the platform, and the Apple TV+ series K-Pop Idols. My most latest documentary project, Who Is Michael Jang? premiered recently on PBS’s Independent Lens.
In the commercial world, I bring a high level of excellence to every production, blending technical acumen with creative problem-solving and a strong commitment to beautiful image capture. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with brands like Apple, Google, Chime, Square, Facebook, Microsoft, Target, Uber, Intel, Kraft, Nest, Method, Molekule, One Medical, Pandora, Nowness, YouTube, and Complex.
I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite musicians, including Future Islands, FKA Twigs, Moses Sumney, Sylvan Esso, and Toro y Moi.
