Hot August Bikes

One of the biggest annual events in Reno is Hot August Nights. Thousands of classic cars ascend upon the Biggest Little City for cruises and show ‘n shines. Hundreds of us took our bicycles to the streets to show that Hot August Nights doesn’t have to be all about cars, it can be about bikes too .

A 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, the Reno Bike Project is a community bike shop dedicated to promoting cycling as an outstanding means of transportation, as well as an intelligent lifestyle choice. As a volunteer at the Reno Bike Project, I gained a solid background in bicycle building and maintenance, as well as experience delivering exceptional customer service to cyclists of all skill levels and backgrounds.
