Being hundreds of miles from home makes the 33 steps restriction kind of null. However, the project must go on. RIley MacLean’s work ethic and creativity are energizing and motivating. I always feel pushed toward doing more to hone my craft after spending time with this guy.

This is a fun project I started with my friend and After Effects Guru, Mark Christiansen. Basically, we both wanted to make sure we were shooing video with our new Canon 7D cameras every day. So, we embarked on a mission to shoot and edit a 33 second video every day for 33 days. To make sure there would be no excuses for a missing a day, the video has to be shot on our respective blocks. 33 steps from home, more or less. This project has nothing to do with perfection, rather the goals are practice and proliferation.
